White paper report
Burgh Bees is a group of urban beekeepers that support one another and contribute to the population of "city bees" that pollinate urban gardens. Research has shown that there are potentially more bees in cities due the higher biodiversity of plants compared to monocropping in the agricultural areas.
My team and I were asked to research potential barriers new beekeepers in the group might experiene starting out, and provide recomendations to better support their efforts during this trying time in a novice's career.
