CLIENT: The Texas Collection
Content writing for a diverse audience
Signage design and writing
This historic archive holds some of the most imporant documents relating to the creation of Texas. Thousands of photographs, first-hand accounts of famous moments, rare books and small artifacts are held in its vaults.
My task was to articulate visually and verbally the feel and contents of this collection. Most notably are four, building sized banners that won The Branding Iron for Outdoor Advertising in 2012 from the Texas Library Association. Additionally, I selected items that told the clearest stories of the past to arrange into exhibits with accompanying text and visitor takeaways, including branded bookmarks and postcards.
